Black Boys In Blue

This is a series I began in December of 2019 about black men and the color blue. I was inspired by the film Moonlight and the quote “Black boys turn blue in the moonlight.”. I thought about how the color blue can be somber and lonely but also spiritual and inviting. These are images of different black men close and far away from me, embracing themselves in the color blue.
